Hello, i am new to the forum here, and wanted to tell you about the mod i posted as reddragon6699556 on soldatforums.com, my 'modern weapons' mod. you should check it out, if you're into modding. I'm currently re-making the mod entirely, and will post a new one either there or here, i'm not sure where. in any case, let me know what you think of my first attempt.
**disclaimer** all my mods are for fun, not profit, so use this as you like.
just don't tell people you made it if you do, oi?

Can you play online with mods without being cheap? (assuming your mods are better then standard guns)

No. The weapons.ini is loaded from the server, not your computer. So, the weapons in the mod would only look like the weapons from the mod, but wouldn't behave like them. Oh, but the sounds do stick.

I'm re-naming my mod "Modern Firearms" after the site "http://world.guns.ru/" AKA modern firearms.
I e-mailed the host of this site, and got the okay to use that name. so if you want any information on the weapons in the mod, thats where I got it. feel free to make suggestions of weapons, and ideas about them.
I want this to be pretty open, so gimme your ideas.
